A PROGRAM to ensure school children have the best start to their day by providing breakfast is looking to expand in 2019.
Mildura Region School Breakfast Partnership started as a pilot program in 2013 with eight schools and last year had grown to 17, providing 1200 breakfasts per week, and Hands Up Mallee health promotions officer Rachael Longeri hopes more schools will come on board this year.
“At the beginning of every school year, letters will be sent out to all schools to see if they want to join the partnership,” she said.
