PROPONENTS of the caravan/RV industry want developers and the local tourism industry to revisit the need for a Mildura RV park after plans were unveiled for one over the border.

Earlier this week it was revealed developers were seeking approval from Wentworth Shire Council for an RV park at Trentham Cliffs, including a water park, pools, eco-huts and facilities for semi-permanent residents.

Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia representative for north-west Victoria Alan Cameron has thrown his support behind the development and said Mildura was missing out on the industry’s tourism dollars.
