THE future of a college aimed at supporting young mothers through education is in jeopardy after the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) rejected its application for registration.
Sunraysia Daily last year reported that the Zoe College, a school that would offer VCAL and VET education to young pregnant and parenting women, would open its doors this year.
However, a spokesperson for the VRQA confirmed yesterday it had rejected an application by the Zoe College to become registered as in independent school, adding that Zoe College had sought a review of the decision and the matter would be heard at VCAT.
