ALMOST 200 members of the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) will descend on Buronga in March for the NSW state conference.
The three-day conference will start with a day of resilience and well-being workshops for families who are currently going through tough times because of drought. It will be followed by the state conference to feature guest speakers and member presentations.
“For the first time the Education Department is having the additional day which is specifically to help out parents and families,” ICPA vice-president Nerida Healy said yesterday.
