THE bright orange car park on Deakin Avenue will be transformed into a towering four-storey building boasting accommodation, shopping and a community garden, under plans submitted to Mildura Council.
Planning consultant James Golsworthy is seeking a planning permit on behalf of Mildura businessman Don Carrazza for the $5 million “City Garden Apartments” development, set to be one of the tallest commercial buildings in the Mildura CBD.
Plans indicate the ground floor of the glitzy development will house a day spa, with the other levels to be taken up by eight two and three-bedroom apartments connected by a central courtyard and community garden.
