THE First People of the Millewa-Mallee Aboriginal Corporation (FPMMAC) has been officially recognised by the Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council as the traditional owner group for northwest Victoria.

The Zone 1 area runs south of the Murray River to the Mallee Highway and west from the Calder Highway to the South Australian border, including the Murray-Sunset National Park.

The FPMMAC represents the rights and interests of Latji Latji, Nyeri Nyeri and Ngintait (Nintay) people.
