MILDURA could find itself in the same electorate as Swan Hill when the state next goes to the polls in 2022, with district boundaries set to be reviewed in the middle of the upcoming term.
Melbourne’s booming population is likely to force major changes to country electorates and could lead to the abolition of some regional seats.
And, depending on what an Electoral Boundaries Commission (EBC) review determines, new boundaries could make it harder for incoming Member for Mildura Ali Cupper to keep her seat.
