MILDURA has one of Victoria’s highest rates of ambulance responses for family or sexual violence incidents, new figures reveal.
Data published by the Crime Statistics Agency this week showed Ambulance Victoria paramedics treated 58 patients after incidents related to family, domestic or sexual violence in the Mildura Council area between June 2016 and June 2018.
When measured against population, that figure was the third highest in the state, with only the Central Goldfields Shire and City of Latrobe recording higher numbers per 100,000 people.
