Robots hit Mildura South Primary School pool

ALL eyes were on a dozen small-powered boats racing in an inflatable pool at Mildura South Primary School this week.

As part of the visual technology curriculum, Grade 6 students designed and customised the school’s most recent technology acquisition Sphero, a robotic ball controlled through smartphones and tablets.

The robot is becoming an increasingly popular addition to Australian classrooms, providing an entertaining way for students to learn about robotics, coding and programming.
