WATER ministers from across the Murray-Darling Basin will discuss plans to recover an extra 450 gigalitres of water for the environment next week.
But a critical report expected to indicate how that water could be found without hurting rural communities is yet to be released.
The report is the product of a snap consultation process the federal Department of Agriculture and Water Resources embarked on in late October, beginning in Mildura.
