AS the final votes were counted in the Victorian state election, a curious picture emerged.
Mildura, won by an average margin of 9.5 per cent at its past five elections, became the third most marginal seat in the state.
Neighbouring Ripon, decided by a mere 31 votes, became Victoria’s most marginal state seat.
