LOCAL go kart racers Joel Johnson and Connor Farr have earned the right to compete with black plates next season after winning their respective divisions at the 2018 Victorian State Cup held at Mildura Kart Club last Sunday.

The highly sought-after honor was awarded to the talented duo after Johnson claimed victory in the KA4 Junior Heavy and Farr in the TaG Light divisions.

Kart racing has been a grooming ground for many motorsport champions over the years including current Supercars drivers Cameron Waters and Todd Kelly, who developed their skills in this form of racing.
