BASEBALL Australia has announced the city has secured hosting duties of a national baseball tournament over the next four years after Mildura Council approved funding last week.

The Aerodrome Sporting Complex will host the Australian Intermediate League Championship from June 17 to 21, 2019 after the tournament’s successful debut on the Australian Little League calendar this year.

It’s hoped the event coup will help sweep baseball fever across Sunraysia by introducing more locals to the sport.
