In the Classroom: Program gets feet moving

THIS year’s top-performing Sunraysia schools for the VicHealth Walk to School program were ­announced this week.

Irymple Primary School, St Joseph’s Prim­ary School and The Lake Primary School are the winners of a five-week bike education program after getting involved in the program.

Of the region’s 28 primary schools invited to take part, 10 accepted the month-long challenge of encouraging primary ­children to walk to and from school.
