FEDERAL Member for Mallee Andrew Broad says he is supportive of plans to cut Australia’s immigration target.
The move, announced by Prime Minister Scott Morrison late last month, would slash the nation’s immigration intake in an effort to curb booming population in city centres.
But Mr Morrison said a reduction in numbers would have to be carefully managed, with a steady population growth required to maintain sustain economic growth.
