AN anthrax outbreak on a property south-west of Swan Hill last month has led to the appropriate disposal and vaccination of sheep by Agriculture Victoria veterinarians and animal health staff.
Victoria’s chief veterinary officer Dr Charles Milne said more than 30 sheep died in a mob of 660 from the disease.
Agriculture Victoria staff are actively engaging with producers in the area to ensure susceptible livestock are vaccinated and have access to information.
