COOMEALLA Wentworth are well on track to double their wins from last year in the Sunraysia Cricket Association.

The Blues put up 231 runs against Merbein South on a tricky deck at Chaffey Park at the weekend and have the Saints 2/4 in response as they chase win No.4 in six matches this season.

Opening batsman Tom Douglas, his club’s highest run-scorer in First Division, said despite only winning two games in 2017-18 his side felt they weren’t far off being able to contend.
