IMPROVING access to education and employment for Sunraysia residents on the autism spectrum would be a priority for independent candidate Ali Cupper, should she be elected on Saturday.
Ms Cupper said she would seek funding for an epidemiological study into the rate of autism in the Sunraysia region and lobby for more education options for families with a child on the autism spectrum.
The cause began as a personal one for Ms Cupper, whose family has provided ongoing support for her brother Paul, who has autism.
