A ROBINVALE business owner says politicians and aspiring MPs should pay more attention to the housing crisis that has left his town in “dire straits”.
Neil Waugh, who employs six people at his Robinvale engineering firm, said low to middle income residents were grappling with an acute shortage of housing, with shops in the town’s main street also paying the price.
Mr Waugh said the issue was compounded by Robinvale landlords allowing as many as 10 tenants to stay in homes built with three bedrooms.
