Victorian election 2018 Mildura: Ballot order lines up

IN a quirk of the draw, Mildura’s five candidates were placed on the state election ballot sheet in the order they lodged their nominations.

Labor candidate Tony Alessi drew pole position yesterday, followed by Greens candidate Cathryn Milne, Nationals MP Peter Crisp and indep­endent Steve Timmis.

Ms Cupper, widely considered the greatest threat to Mr Crisp, was listed in last position.
