A CARAVAN and picker’s hut were destroyed in an Irymple fire early yesterday morning.

Five appliances from Irymple, Mildura and Red Cliffs fire stations attended the blaze at 2am on Pawson Avenue following reports a structure was well alight.

Irymple Fire Brigade captain Steve Elms said crews were on-site for two hours, with a lack of water hydrants near the rural property adding time to the job.
