VIETNAM veteran Bernard Denner will pay tribute to all former servicemen and women from the Mildura district when he commemorates Remembrance Day in France this weekend.

Mr Denner has been accepted to attend a special ceremony at the Australian Embassy in Paris, as well as a service at Villers-Bretonneux, a Western Front town recaptured by Australian soldiers in 1918.

“It is just basically awesome that I’m able to go in this capacity and be right up front with a chair for the service and certainly recognise Mildura RSL and secondly my grandfather, who served at Gallipoli,” Mr Denner said.
