UPGRADES to community halls and sporting complexes have dominated Wentworth Shire Council’s wish list under the Federal Government’s $75 million drought funding package.
During tomorrow’s meeting, councillors will decide which priority projects the council will apply for funding under the Drought Communities Program.
In August, it was revealed the shire was one of 60 eligible drought-affected councils to be offered a $1 million slice each under the package.
