Putting for a good cause

MORE than 40 golfers hit the fairways at Wentworth Sporting Complex golf course yesterday for the Murray House Annual Golf Day.

The event, founded by Bill Wheeldon nearly a decade ago, aims to raise a couple of thousand dollars each year for Murray House Aged Care.

“Each year we look to raise funds that can go into purchasing extra equipment as a bonus for the facility,” Murray House Aged Care chair Andrew Rix said.
