LOCAL mountain bike enthusiasts gathered together to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Coomealla Mildura Mountainless Bike Club at the weekend.

The event was also the occasion for the members to pedal their bikes on the club’s track at Coomealla, located on the banks of the Murray River, before enjoying a barbecue and an award presentation.

Participants raced in an 800m event, before undertaking a 5km time trial, in which each rider left a 30-second gap between the next competitor and tried to catch up with the rider in front of them.
