Greens senator: Labor playing it ‘safe’ with Mildura Base Hospital consultation

VICTORIAN Greens Senator Janet Rice says Labor’s community consultation on Mildura Base Hospital proves the party is playing it safe on the issue of public management.

In Mildura yesterday for a two-day visit which included an “in conversation” event at Mildura Rowing Club last night, Ms Rice warned Labor would make promises and not deliver.

“They’re obviously trying to have a bob each way and say they’re doing something but whether they actually deliver on it is another thing,” she said.
