FIVE community organisations in Robinvale and Wemen will share in $5000 raised by Wemen Solar Farm workers this week.

The funds, donated by 150 on-site electricians over the past four weeks, will be divided between the Clontarf Academy at Robinvale, the Robinvale/Euston Football Netball Club, Robinvale Network House, as well as Robinvale and Wemen fire brigades.

John Warren from the Electrical Trades Union (ETU) said the idea was to “give back to the community” that hosted the workers for the duration of the solar farm project.
