Pairs draws a crowd

Bowlers from all over Australia, including Betty Minter of Nangiloc Bowls Club, Annemarie Clarke of Irymple Bowls Club, Isobel Davison of Warracknabeal Golf Bowls Club and Norz Belot of Rupanyup Bowling Club, have converged on Mildura for the Dot Jenkinson Pairs. More than $7000 in prizemoney is up for grabs over the two-day event, which ends Friday.

BOWLERS from all over Australia have converged on Mildura to compete in the Dot Jenkinson Ladies Pairs.

The prestigious event has attracted some of the country’s best female bowlers.

More than 200 pairs have entered this year’s event which got under way yesterday at five different locations across Sunraysia, including Red Cliffs, Merbein and Irymple.
