Letter: Regional Vic should not be forced, but enjoyed

The plan to locate new arrivals in regions can be a win for all.

The desire to live regionally should not have to be forced.

Why people have to be forced into regions is the problem. It is time regional living had a boost in image and promotion to make it an attractive option.

Regional locations need to be places that have it all and not the need to zip into the capitals.

The capitals have massive issues around how to cope with population and regions are part of the solution. It is time for incentives to be put in place to to encourage a shift.

It is also time for a capital city congestion tax to be applied now for city and suburban residents.
