Lower Murray Water sees spike in spring water use

WATER wasters are on notice that as temperatures rise so too will the number of patrols undertaken by Lower Murray Water (LMW) compliance officers.

Warmer weather this weekend is expected to see green thumbs out in the garden with new plantings and a fresh sowing of lawn, but (LMW) will also be out to ensure residents are abiding with year-round water saving rules.

LMW has already seen a spike on water consumption this spring with temperatures into the high 20s last month and a high already of 32.7C this month.
