POWERVAULT director Steve Timmis says draft solar planning guidelines released by the State Government yesterday will “weigh favourably” towards his solar developments if he takes the matters to VCAT. 

Victorian Government draft guidelines leave solar decisions up to councils

Mildura councillors knocked back the company’s bid to get planning permits for three controversial solar developments in Mildura, Merbein and Birdwoodton’s farming zone during the August council meeting. 

Mr Timmis has not yet decided if he will challenge the decisions at VCAT.
