HUMAN rights and refugee advocate Julian Burnside will visit the region this weekend for the fourth Mildura Human Rights Oration.

The Australian barrister will deliver an address to an audience at the Mildura Arts Centre Theatre on the topic: Why justice matters.

Sunraysia Mallee Ethnic Communities Council (SMECC) executive officer Dean Wickham said the audience would also hear the real stories of “victims of a lack of justice” who have settled in the region.
