MILDURA hospice campaigner Alicia Driscoll and friend Brian Harrison rode into Mildura on horse and wagon on Saturday, having completed their two-week journey from Ballarat.

The pair undertook the grueling 560km journey to raise awareness of the need for a hospice in Mildura.

Alicia, a horse trainer from Ballarat, is the granddaughter of Cas Driscoll, who has been tirelessly lobbying support over the past six years for a palliative care hospice to be built.
