SEVEN community projects across Wentworth Shire will come to life in the coming years after the council secured more than $2 million in NSW Government funding.
The projects were among 11 submitted by Wentworth Shire Council under the second round of the Stronger Country Communities Fund.
The funds include $450,000 for a new Barrett Pavilion at the Wentworth Showgrounds, $400,000 for shire-wide public toilet upgrades, $300,000 for a Wentworth Sporting Complex upgrade and $200,000 for the Wentworth Riverfront refurbishment.
