Hospice Ball put on hold

OCTOBER’S Hospice Hope Ball at Club Da Vinci has been postponed, but organisers are determined to regroup and run the event in six months’ time.

Palliative care volunteer Cas Driscoll, who is driving the community push to have a hospice built in the region, said the decision was disappointing but urged the community to stay on board with the cause.

“A few unforeseen circumstances popped up which made the timing difficult,” Ms Driscoll said.
