PEOPLE wanting to live and work in Mildura are being lured into NSW because accessing accommodation is “easier over the river”, the Victorian Parliament has been told.
Member for Mildura Peter Crisp told parliament this week that while there was strong growth, good work prospects and an increasing demand for housing in Mildura, “some supply issues” had occurred with the Mildura Council.
Mr Crisp said there was plenty of land in the municipality but the process of subdividing and approvals was frustrating developers and “certainly” frustrating the market.
