ROBINVALE locals are “fed up” with the state of the “jewel in the crown” of their town, and say it’s time for Swan Hill Rural City Council (SHRCC) to take action.
However, council say they have been “trying to get in touch” with the current owners of the pub to “offer assistance” and their hands are currently tied.
The Robinvale Hotel was ravaged by fire in 2015 and subsequently sold to a “group of investors” who refuse to comment on plans for the dilapidated town icon.
Sunraysia Daily spoke to one of the investors who refused to shed any light on future plans for the historic landmark.
Previous leaseholder Dave Walsh said he avoids driving down Perrin Street so as not to catch a glimpse of his “pride and joy” in its current state.
