IF you want to avoid Sunraysia’s venomous snakes and swooping magpies across the next few months, the advice is to stay in a group and keep your eyes on the men.
As the weather warms up the local wildlife is once again becoming more active with Mildura snake catcher Steven Morrow this week bagging two snakes.
“I had a brown snake and western brown snake, one was in the men’s toilet block at the Apex Caravan Park and the other was at a Nichols Point house and had been sunning itself near the pool for three or four days,” Mr Morrow said.
