OUYEN United have confirmed they have spoken to Hawthorn-listed player Dallas Willsmore about a possible return home.

Willsmore, 23, who will play for Box Hill on Sunday against Williamstown in the VFL preliminary final, has been on the Hawks’ list since 2013 when he was drafted with the club’s first selection and 17th overall in the rookie draft. He was elevated to the senior list in 2014.

He made his senior debut in the AFL against Sydney in round 10 last year, but could only manage one more game before returning the club’s VFL side, Box Hill.
