A SOLDIER settlement-style scheme, such as that implemented for veterans returning from service after World Wars I and II, has been mooted to assist those returning from more recent conflicts.
Member for Mallee Andrew Broad, who raised the concept in Federal Parliament this week, said he was concerned that “collectively” not enough was being done for returning war veterans.
“People who have served our country are people we should be proud of,” Mr Broad said.
