MILDURA’S latest clay target shooting world champion has backed plans by the Mildura Clay Target Club to improve its facilities to world-class level.
Yelta’s Nathan Argiro said the plan, which involves the installation of a “shot curtain” as well as improving amenities for disabled shooters and spectators and extending the club’s range to accommodate more competitors, would raise the club’s profile on the national stage.
“We could host massive events, training camps, our international shooters as well,” the ISSF World Championship Trap Men Junior gold medallist said.
