Italian spirit comes alive

GUESTS from as far away as Rome will travel to Mildura later this month for the Dante Alighieri National Conference.

The Dante Aligheri Society of Mildura is one of more than 400 societies globally promoting Italian language and culture.

For the first time, the local branch has been chosen to host the conference, running from September 27-30, which will attract delegates from most of the 11 Australian chapters.
