Despite the joy of locking in a third straight SFNL grand final appearance, the narrative in the Kangas’ rooms from co-coach Luke Nathan in his post-match address was certainly geared towards preparing for the September 22 decider and making up for losing on the last day of the 2017 SFNL season. The 2016 premiers and last year’s runners-up defeated Red Cliffs 15.10 (100) to 8.12 (60) at Robinvale’s John James Oval on Saturday, with players launching into their recovery sessions yesterday and now focusing on the task ahead.
Nathan told Sunraysia Daily after the game the entire club was excited for what a third grand final in the Kangas’ third season in the SFNL would bring.
