NINE sporting clubs in Mildura will receive a defibrillator and training package as part of the state’s Defibrillators for Sporting Clubs and Facilities Program.
Member for Northern Victoria Mark Gepp yesterday announced the local clubs were among 300 successful applicants across the state.
He said the package would help local clubs implement a sports medical plan and be better prepared to act fast in case of an emergency.
