A TOTAL of 370 primary and secondary school students from 14 Sunraysia schools took to the stage in this year’s The Beat state schools showcase at Mildura Arts Centre.

Just under 1000 people packed the arts centre over three performances on Tuesday and Wednesday to take in the spectacular which was made up of dance, drama, singing and instrumental acts.

Mildura Senior College teacher Bianca Deckert was this year’s The Beat co-ordinator and she said the 2018 show saw a boost in student participation.
