Re: Birdwoodton Solar Farm: Everyone keeps saying its “prime agricultural land” is a little bit misleading.
If this was to be the case why is this land being sub-divided for residential use?
If the land is so valuable for agriculture and horticulture why is this happening ?
Something on the land is better than a vacant dust bowl of half dead vines. Or let someone replant it but then they would complain about the noisy tractors or spray vats.
I just think the argument that is being put forward by the people that oppose this is a little out of touch.
Go and see how many sheds out there have solar on them.
