A LIFEGUARD unable to swim, a real estate agent on an island, a ghost, a family reunion and a cyclone.

These are the ingredients of an exciting story, according to the six Gol Gol Public School students who participated in the Write a Book in a Day national competition and fundraiser this week.

The group of Grade 5 and 6 students received instructions, including the primary character’s occupation, the story setting and five compulsory words to use in the story on Wednesday morning.
