WHEN it comes to country shows in NSW, Wentworth Show “punches well above its weight”.

That’s according to junior vice-president of the show’s committee Ashton Cowling, who plays a key role with the organisation and traffic management of the show.

Mr Cowling said despite Wentworth’s population of about 1800 people, the show brought in about 10,000 people through the gates each year and, in its 133rd year, it was showing no sign of slowing down.
