SUNRAYSIA’S sporting enthusiasts shivered through freezing temperatures, rain and cold winds over the weekend.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Richard Carlyon labelled Fridays’ warm but windy afternoon top of 23.7C a “bit of a fluke”.
“It was a bit of a Spring-like day in Mildura on Friday, despite the maximum wind gust at 67 km/h, but it probably won’t be a common occurrence just yet,” he said.
