YELTA clay target shooter Nathan Argiro will need to recalibrate his aim, switching back to Olympic trap for next month’s ISSF World Championship in Changwon, South Korea.
Fresh off claiming an individual junior world title and finishing third in the Open section – after a shoot-off with the eventual second-placed shooter – at the Universal Trench World Cup in Sarlospuszta, Hungary, last month, Argiro is now going back to the Olympic and Commonwealth games event.
“Compared to Olympic trap it is a different event, yes it was a confidence boost but I don’t want to have my head held high and say I’m going to back up and win it,” Argiro said.
